Freedom through Incineration

1.    Write it down, then burn it

2.    Release, rebirth, renewable

The incineration part of this step provides you with effective rituals for letting go.  You can also tear it up into tiny little pieces....feels good!

Dialogue

1.    Write a conversation with yourself and be honest

2.    Negative feelings-let them out

3.    Anger-Write the word SCREAM in big bold letters in your journal.  You will be amazed how much better you feel!

Most of us already use dialoging every day in our lives without thinking about it. Which one of us doesn’t hold a conversation with ourselves either in our minds or out loud?  Once we give ourselves permission to feel angry, be angry about something or someone we are able to release enormous amounts of emotional tension by journaling, writing down our unspoken conversations.

2.  THERAPEUTIC JOURNALING

1.    Positive way to actively participate in therapy

2.    Remove stress to achieve emotional health

Our lives are full of emotional ups and downs like a roller coaster.  We are lucky that most of them fall into the category of minor occurrences.  The Medical Community has long recommended journaling to their patients and clients as part of their ongoing prescription for healing.

Ventilate, Air Out Your Feelings

1.    Negative Feelings

2.    Anger

3.    Misunderstandings

There are times when you just can’t say, out loud, what you really feel.  We all know that if we hold in our feelings like misguided anger, it can wreak havoc on our lives and can blow the lid off our mental health.  Journaling provides an ever-obtainable release.  Write it, close your journal and walk away from the problem.  You can either dump it all in your journal or take it out on your loved ones and have a quiet coronary!

I find when I write things down in my journal, something that is really bothering me, then closing the journal, it allows me to walk away and find peace.  If the problem is important you can then go back later with a clear mind and deal with it.

Life Philosophies

1.    Reading

2.    Listening

3.    Traveling

4.    Living

We come across, from time to time, words of wisdom that help to build our own unique life's truth and ideas.  In our own lifetime we stretch and grow in so many ways.  Even the smallest thing can make a big difference in our lives.  A sunset in the morning, the kindness of a stranger.  Be sure to stop and listen some time during each day.

Live, Love and Learn.

The purpose of life is a life of purpose. ~Robert Byrne

Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can. ~Danny Kaye

Keep a record, journal.

Spiritual Enrichment

1.    Attend lectures, learn something new each day

2.    Prayers

3.    Seek wise words from a trusted elder

We often come across wise words that we want to remember and build into our lives in some way.  Include these in your Personal Growth Journal. Write them down and pin them up where you can see them. Spiritual awakening and renewal often comes in its own time, we cannot force it regardless of what is happening in our lives.

Keeping a record in our journals, whether it is daily or weekly, provides a reference, a point for whatever steps we choose to take.  If we fail to write them down they can and will be easily forgotten.  Journaling the process of our personal life's journey, our path, establishes a solid foundation upon which we can build from and from which we can make future decisions.
